The Listening Literacy Project
A Bookbury Audio Initiative
Where listening strengthens learning and literacy

Overview
Bookbury Audio's Listening Literacy Project explores how audiobooks and streaming classroom support materials, through human narration can, deepen comprehension, fluency, and joy in reading for learners of all ages and reading levels.
This initiative bridges the art of narration with the science of literacy. By pairing authentic, high-quality audio with thoughtfully designed learning supports for the classroom, the project aims to make literature and learning materials more accessible, engaging, and inclusive.
The project’s long-term goal is to help schools and families use listening as a gateway to language learning for the purpose of cultivating not only stronger readers, but more imaginative thinkers.
